When we found it difficult to find the right ambient music for our meditation and relaxation classes - we decided to make our own! Whilst visiting Australia, teaching Dru Meditation and sound workshops, I met Dru Yogis Jac and Greg Carlin, talented musicians and technicians from Canberra. Together we created Akasha, subtle ambient music to use for our relaxations.
We've made the tracks around 20 minutes so they're long enough for a good session without you having to change tracks.
The melodies are loosely based on Raga Bhairav and Bhupali, which are best listened to in the morning and evening respectively. The pieces are designed to help you reach your own inner space of stillness.
